Web Product Scraper

A PDF catalogue from any shop,
with WhatsApp on every product.

Web Product Scraper turns the products of a shop page into a printable catalogue for your customers: about six products per A4 page with the photos, a product code, the name, a short description and your price. Your logo and business details head page one, and every product has a WhatsApp button that opens a chat with you about that exact product. Free, no account, nothing leaves your browser.

How do I make a product catalogue PDF from a website?

Open the shop page with the products, click the Web Product Scraper icon, add your business details and logo once in Settings, and press PDF catalogue. The catalogue opens in a new tab; choose Save as PDF in Chrome's print window and share the file.

  1. Add Web Product Scraper to Chrome. It is free and needs no account.
  2. Open a category, collection or search page of the shop, and click the extension icon.
  3. In Settings, type your business name, WhatsApp number, address and links, and upload your logo. They are kept in your browser for every catalogue.
  4. Optionally add a markup, so the catalogue shows your selling price, or switch prices off.
  5. Press PDF catalogue (or open the PDF catalogue tab after a scrape), then choose Save as PDF.

What is in the catalogue

Page one: your business

Your logo, business name, address and GST number, with your WhatsApp, email, website and Instagram as links.

About six products per page

The main photo and up to three more, the product code, the name and a short description, laid out for A4.

A WhatsApp button on every product

One tap opens a chat with your number, with the product's code, name and price already typed in.

Your price, or none

The shop's price, your price with a markup, or no prices at all.

Exactly the products you chose

Search, filter or tick rows in the table first: the catalogue has the products the table shows, in its order.

Clickable after saving

Chrome's Save as PDF keeps every link working, so the buttons work in the PDF too.

Your selling price, rounded up

Set a markup in Settings, either a percentage or a fixed amount in the shop's currency. A "your price" column appears in the table, rounded up to a whole unit, and the catalogue and the exports use it. A product at 40 with a 30% markup shows 52.

Prefer to quote prices yourself? Untick "Show prices" and the catalogue, and the WhatsApp messages, carry no price at all.

How the WhatsApp buttons work

Each button is a plain WhatsApp link to the number you entered. When a customer taps it, WhatsApp opens a chat with you and the message is already typed: "Hi, I'm interested in XX-001 Gold-Tone Double Heart Mangalsutra, ₹52. Is it available?" They only press send.

A 10-digit number is taken as Indian (+91); any other number needs its country code. The message is text only, with no links in it.

Who uses it

Resellers

Pick products from a wholesaler's site, add your margin, and send customers a catalogue in your own name.

Small shops and boutiques

A printable catalogue of your own online shop for customers who order on WhatsApp.

Wholesale buyers

Collect a supplier's range into one PDF to discuss, with codes to quote back.
